Guwahati: The Assam Cricket Association (ACA) launched the Class-II Umpire Seminar cum Examination at its stadium premises today. This two-day event, running until August 4, 2024, marks a major step in enhancing umpiring standards in Assam.

ACA Treasurer Chiranjit Langthasa inaugurated the seminar, welcoming around 150 eager candidates. These participants will engage in a detailed program to sharpen their skills, followed by the Class-II examination.
“We are delighted to host this seminar and examination, which will play a crucial role in shaping the future of cricket in our state,” said Chiranjit Langthasa, ACA Treasurer.
