Ambubachi Mela Begins at Guwahati’s Kamakhya Temple


Guwahati : The Ambubachi Mela, a popular religious festival, started at Guwahati’s Kamakhya Temple on Friday. Thousands of devotees have gathered to participate in this auspicious event.

The festival marks the closing of the temple doors at 2:30 AM on Friday and their reopening on Monday. Devotees eagerly await this moment and travel from various places to be a part of the festivities.
