Guwahati: The All Assam Students’ Union (AASU) has achieved a resounding victory in the elections of three colleges in Guwahati.
At Dispur College, Dipjyoti Das and Rajdeep Kalita secured the positions of President and General Secretary, with a total of 10 candidates supported by AASU emerging as winners.

In Beltola College, seven AASU-backed candidates were victorious in the election.
At Gauhati Commerce College, Hridoy Roy and Ankur Kalita were elected as General Secretary and Sports Secretary.
Kamal Mahanta, President of the All Guwahati Student Union, and Pranjal Deka, Secretary, congratulated all the winners.
This victory comes after AASU recently won eight out of 14 positions, including the presidency, at the Gauhati University election, with Jintu Das securing the most votes to become the next PGSU President.
