Guwahati: Assam Don Bosco University (ADBU), Azara, hosted a one-day Faculty Development Programme (FDP) for teachers from Don Bosco Schools across the region. Held in the university’s Conference Hall, the event aimed to enrich, inspire, and equip educators with modern pedagogical and digital tools.

The programme began with a solemn prayer led by Fr. K. J. Thomas, Rector of ADBU, followed by an inaugural ceremony featuring a welcome address by Vice-Chancellor Fr. (Dr.) Jose Palely, a classical fusion dance by students, and a musical presentation by faculty members. The keynote address, delivered by Fr. Sebastian Mathew, Salesian Provincial, highlighted Don Bosco’s vision in the context of 21st-century education. The session also saw the release of departmental newsletters, showcasing academic and creative achievements.
