Dhemaji: Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Wednesday claimed that the National Democratic Alliance’s (NDA) massive victory in Bihar was possible because the Women Entrepreneurship Scheme of Assam was taken to Bihar.

Speaking at Sissiborgaon in Dhemaji after a cheque distribution ceremony, the Chief Minister said,
“Everyone is saying that the NDA’s big win in Bihar happened because Assam’s women entrepreneurship scheme was introduced there. This scheme has been warmly accepted by all women in Assam.”

Commenting on the Bihar election results, Sarma again targeted Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, saying that wherever Rahul Gandhi goes, defeat follows.
“Rahul Gandhi is the biggest star campaigner for the BJP. If Rahul Gandhi comes to campaign, BJP’s victory becomes certain,” Sarma remarked.
