Guwahati: The 29th edition of India’s largest cultural festival, Alcheringa, will take place at IIT Guwahati from January 30 to February 2, 2025. This year’s theme, “Arcade Core,” merges retro gaming aesthetics with creativity and innovation.
The festival will kick off with “Saaz,” featuring a classical flute performance by Rakesh Chaurasia. Over 100 competitions, including music, dance, drama, and art, will follow, showcasing talents nationwide.
Pro Nights will feature major attractions like a surprise act on “Jaggernaut Night” (Jan 31), Bollywood Night with Amit Trivedi (Feb 1), and EDM Night “Blitzkrieg” (Feb 2).
Alcheringa 2025 promises a blend of cultural brilliance, social campaigns, and immersive experiences for attendees.
