Dr. M S Lakshmi Priya, IAS, Mission Director NHM Assam, along with Dr. Abijit Basu, State TB Officer, and Dr. Palash Talukdar, Consultant – WHO HQ, NTEP, recently presented awards at the State Level Review meeting of the National Tuberculosis Elimination Programme (NTEP). The accolades were conferred upon outstanding units, with Manikpur Tuberculosis Unit in Bongaigaon District receiving recognition as the Best Performing Unit.
Assam Govt Declares Half-Holiday On January 22
In a commendable acknowledgment of efforts, Mushalpur Tuberculosis Unit in Baksa District and Kajalgaon Tuberculosis Unit in Chirang District were also honored as Best Performing Units during the review meeting at the Assam Administrative Staff College in Guwahati. The recognition reflects their significant contributions to the National Tuberculosis Elimination Programme.
