Guwahati : The Assam Premier Club Championship (APCC) commenced at Nehru Stadium, Guwahati, with the inaugural match witnessing a victory for Bud Cricket Club over Riverine Club.

The tournament was officially inaugurated by Sri Mukut Das, Former First-Class Cricketer, Assam. Distinguished guests, including Paresh Chandra Das (President GSA), Kajal Paul Choudhary (Joint Secretary, GSA), Bablu Choudhary (Asst General Secretary, GSA), Sajjad Zaheer Hussain (Asst General Secretary, GSA), Nasir Gul Khan (Sports Secretary, Cricket GSA), Raghavendra Majumdar (Sports Secretary, Athletics, GSA), and Manjeet Hazarika (Sports Secretary, Basketball, GSA), graced the opening ceremony. The tournament is scheduled to continue until January 30, 2024.
