Guwahati: The city police successfully apprehended four robbers on August 16. These individuals have been identified as Faizul Hoque (28), Paresh Ali, Moinal Ali (30), and Mainuddin Ali (25), all residing in Chaygaon, Kamrup (R).
After their capture, the police found a Bolero vehicle, four mobile phones, a knife, and tools used for breaking into houses in their possession. Upon questioning, the robbers provided information that led the police to a house in Islampur, Rani, Kamrup (R), where they had hidden stolen items.

Upon searching the house, the police discovered nine mobile phones, an HP laptop, three cameras, gold ornaments, four laptop bags, brass metal items, two sharp weapons (khukri), and Rs. 15,000 in cash. Investigations are ongoing to gather more information.
