Guwahati : Gauhati Medical College & Hospital (GMCH) observed Organ Donation Month in July 2023, coinciding with “Angdaan Mahotsav.” The initiative aimed to raise awareness about organ donation and its life-saving potential. Throughout the month, impactful activities and expert counseling were organized to dispel myths and encourage potential donors. Attendees were urged to spread the message to their loved ones.
Organ Donation Month concluded successfully, and ROTTO Guwahati expressed gratitude to all participants. They plan to celebrate Indian Organ Donation Day on August 3, 2023, with further awareness campaigns. The initiative hopes to inspire more individuals to pledge their organs for the betterment of humanity.
