Guwahati: Jettwings Business School (JBS) organized its annual convocation ceremony for students of the Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) programme in Aviation, Hospitality and Tourism Management.
During the event, the institution announced that all students who opted for corporate placements from the graduating batch have secured jobs in leading companies. According to Jettwings Group Chairman Sanjay Aditya Singh, around 80 per cent of the graduating students chose corporate placements and all of them were successfully placed.
The graduates received degrees under the affiliation of Gauhati University. The ceremony included the awarding of degrees and merit awards to students for academic performance, leadership and internship achievements.
Addressing the gathering, JBS Principal Dr. Mampi Bora said the three-year programme combines classroom learning, practical training and industry internships to prepare students for careers in aviation, hospitality and tourism sectors.
According to the institution, students from the 2026 batch have secured placements in organisations including Bank of America, Air India and Reliance Industries, among others.
Jettwings Business School, affiliated with Gauhati University and approved by the Assam Government’s Higher Education Department, offers degree and vocational programmes in aviation, hospitality and tourism management. The institution said it will continue to expand its industry partnerships and skill-based education initiatives.
