Guwahati: Pawan Khera, Chairman of the Media and Communication Department of the All India Congress Committee, appeared before the Guwahati Crime Branch on Thursday for the second consecutive day in connection with an ongoing investigation.
According to the Assam Pradesh Congress Committee, Khera continued to cooperate fully with the investigation during the day-long questioning session.
After nearly eight hours of questioning at the Crime Branch office in Guwahati, Pawan Khera spoke briefly to the media and stated that he would continue to cooperate with the investigation as a responsible citizen.
He informed that the Crime Branch has directed him to appear again on May 25, and he confirmed that he would comply with the summons.
However, Khera refrained from commenting on the details of the investigation, stating that the matter is currently sub-judice. He said all necessary answers had already been provided to the investigating officers of the Crime Branch.
