Guwahati: The Kharghuli neighborhood in Guwahati witnessed yet another burst in the water supply mainline, releasing knee-deep water onto the road and wasting thousands of litres of water.
This is a repeat of a similar incident in May 2023, which caused extensive damage and raised serious safety concerns. That tragic event led to the death of a woman, injuries to several others, and the destruction of multiple homes.
Residents expressed frustration over the recurring issue, urging authorities to take immediate and effective action to prevent such incidents.
