Guwahati: Veteran cricket coach Nabab Ali received the ‘Manab Mitra’ title for his 45 years of contribution to Assam cricket. The honor was conferred by Prof. Amarjyoti Choudhury at a felicitation ceremony in Bakulbon, Chatribari, marking the 94th birth anniversary of educationist Jatindra Chandra Nath.
The event also featured Lieutenant General Pranab Bharali, Assam’s first officer of his rank in the Indian Army. Several dignitaries and cricket enthusiasts attended to honor Ali’s remarkable contributions to Assam’s cricketing future.
