Guwahati : A thief got hurt when police fired at him in Chandrapur area of Guwahati on Monday.
The thief, who is named Arjun Saha, was trying to run away while he was being taken for investigation.

The police shot him in his left leg, and he was taken to Gauhati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) for treatment.
The police also got back the stolen chain from Arjun.
Police are asking the public to be careful and watchful when they are wearing jewelry and other valuable things in public places.
