Guwahati: The songs and poster of the upcoming Assamese film Xapone Pakhi Mele were officially released at the Guwahati Press Club on Monday. Featuring voices from renowned singers like Zubeen Garg, Subasana Dutta, Mayuri Dutta, Rintu Saikia, and Sreemoyee Bordoloi, the songs will soon be available on the YouTube channel of NK Productions.
Prominent personalities, including senior journalist Mantu Saikia, cultural activist Banajyoti Kaudinya, YouTuber Bhushan Pathak, and actors Plabita and Chiranjeeb Dutta, attended the event alongside the film’s director-producer Bikul Dutta.
Known for his work in Love in Bangkok, Bikul Dutta has directed, produced, and penned the story, screenplay, and dialogues for Sapone Pakhi Mele. The film features a young and talented cast, including Plabita, Deepshikha, Chiranjeeb, Aminul, Suraj, and Gaurishankar.
The music is composed by Pranjal Pradeep Bharali, with Kailash Duwara handling cinematography and editing. Assistant directors Aamibat Hussain and Vikas Dutta also contributed to the project.
