A snake was found on the field during the 2nd IND vs SA T20 in Guwahati on Sunday October 2, 2022. Groundsmen remove the snake from the Barsapara Cricket Stadium in Guwahati. As the television cameras spotted the snake, security officials from the Barasapara Stadium quickly reached the spot to evacuate the snake.
People reacted to the incident on social media. Indian cricket commentator Harsha Bhogle pointed out how the ground staff seemed prepared for the snake’s intervention. He took to Twitter and wrote, “That is a first for me. A second snake on the ground.”
