Guwahati, July 21: Marking a year of delivering advanced healthcare services in Assam, Peerless Hospital Guwahati celebrated its first Foundation Day with a series of employee engagement programmes and community-focused healthcare initiatives, while announcing special discounts and affordable medical services for the public.
The hospital, which was inaugurated on July 21, 2025, observed the milestone with in-house celebrations involving doctors, nurses, administrative staff, and support personnel. Sporting events, including cricket and arm-wrestling competitions, were organised to promote teamwork, while a painting competition on the theme of patient safety highlighted the institution’s continued focus on quality and safe healthcare.
To commemorate the occasion, the hospital introduced a range of healthcare offers aimed at making quality treatment more affordable. These include super-speciality consultations for ₹100 in General Medicine, Orthopaedics, General Surgery, and Neurocare, a 15 per cent discount on all health check-up packages, and discounts of up to 25 per cent on ECG, radiology, and in-house blood tests, depending on the bill value. The hospital has also announced laparoscopic gallbladder surgery starting at ₹35,000, subject to terms and conditions. The offers will remain valid from July 21 to July 31, 2026.
Reflecting on the hospital’s first year, officials said Peerless Hospital Guwahati has steadily established itself as a trusted healthcare destination for patients across Assam and the Northeast. Since its inauguration by Assam Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma, the hospital has expanded its clinical services across multiple specialties, backed by modern infrastructure, experienced medical professionals, and a patient-centric approach.
“Our first Foundation Day is a significant milestone in the journey of Peerless Hospital Guwahati. We began with a clear vision of making quality healthcare more accessible to the people of Assam and the Northeast, and today that vision is steadily becoming a reality,” said Dr. Gautam Kr. Das, Chief Executive Officer of Peerless Hospital Guwahati.
He said the hospital’s progress over the past year had been driven by the dedication of its doctors, nurses, and staff, along with the trust and support of patients. “As we celebrate this milestone, we remain committed to raising healthcare standards through compassionate, ethical, and patient-centric care,” he added.
Over the past year, the hospital has strengthened its capabilities in advanced diagnostics, evidence-based treatment, and specialised medical care while continuing to expand its range of services.
As it enters its second year, Peerless Hospital Guwahati has reaffirmed its commitment to clinical excellence, innovation, patient safety, and community well-being, with a continued focus on providing advanced healthcare services closer to home for the people of Assam and the Northeast.
