Barnagar: A mega Ex-Serviceman rally was organized at Barnagar under the aegis of the Directorate of Sainik Welfare Assam, Zila Sainik Welfare Office Barpeta, and Ex-Serviceman Association Barnagar. Around 2,200 ex-servicemen and their families attended the event.
A medical camp was set up at the rally site for the ex-servicemen. Brigadier Polash Choudhury, Sena Medal, Director of Sainik Welfare Assam, attended the rally and commended the ex-servicemen community for their contributions to social welfare. He also distributed gifts to octogenarian ex-servicemen present at the event.
