Guwahati: Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport (LGBIA) in Guwahati has recently completed upgrades to enhance the experience for passengers and airlines. The improvements include adding conveyor belts and creating wall cutouts in the Baggage Handling System (BHS) for smoother connectivity to check-in counters. New check-in counters have also been installed to improve efficiency and customer service. The airport has made significant improvements to the Baggage Makeup Area (BMA) and Baggage Breakup Area (BBA) for more effective baggage handling. Furthermore, restroom renovations have been completed, ensuring better hygiene and accessibility for passengers. LGBIA aims to provide an improved travel experience and strengthen its collaboration with airlines.
