ISRO Chairman V. Narayanan met Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Monday and assured full support in helping Assam launch its own satellite.
The meeting took place at Assam House, where both discussed the state’s plan to use a satellite for better flood management, policy planning, and border monitoring.
CM Sarma praised ISRO for its achievements and called its scientists a true inspiration for every Indian. He said Assam’s satellite dream will play an important role in solving many problems in the state.
