In a commendable effort, the Indian Army organized an Oral Screening Camp in Champa Basti of Chug Valley, Arunachal Pradesh, on January 31, 2024. The initiative aimed to raise oral health awareness and assess the oral health of civilians in areas lacking basic dental care facilities.

A total of 27 individuals, including women and children, were screened, with 17 referred for intervention at the Army’s hospital in Senge. The Army also distributed medicines, oral hygiene aids, and demonstrated proper brushing and flossing techniques, highlighting their commitment to the well-being of locals in remote border regions.
