Guwahati: The Guwahati police arrested a fraud lady residing in the Chandmari area. According to reports, she deceived people by promising them wine shop permits, railway contracts, and other supplies.
A person filed a complaint at the Bhangagarh police station stating that the accused woman had taken over Rs 1 crore from them with the promise of assisting in various contracts.
