Former Assam Education Minister Ramani Barman Passes Away


Nalbari: Veteran politician and former education minister of Assam, Ramani Barman, breathed his last on Monday morning, marking the end of an era.

Barman, who had been ailing for some time, passed away in Nalbari, leaving behind a legacy of service and dedication to the people of Assam.

Having served as the education minister of the state in 1978, Barman made significant contributions to the development of the education sector during his tenure.

Prior to his foray into active politics, Barman distinguished himself as a professor at Nalbari College, imparting knowledge in the Political Science department.
