Sikkim: DGP Robin Hibu, IPS, visited Medhavi Skills University (MSU) and interacted with students. He explored the university’s skill development facilities and encouraged students to focus on careers in public service. MSU’s Co-Founder and Pro-Chancellor, Kuldip Sarma, along with faculty members, welcomed him and discussed plans to improve skill-based education in the Northeast.
During his visit, Hibu toured the university’s modern laboratories, including emergency care, microbiology, radiology, and physiotherapy labs. He also inspected digital learning spaces, student hostels, and ongoing infrastructure projects.
He interacted with students and faculty, sharing insights from his experience in law enforcement and social service. In his keynote speech, he praised MSU’s efforts in skill-based education and urged students to develop industry-relevant skills.
MSU students performed traditional dance and music, celebrating the diverse culture of the Northeast. Shri Hibu appreciated the students’ talent and encouraged them to pursue their dreams with dedication.
