Guwahati: The 5th All Assam Ranking Badminton Tournament 2023 came to an end on July 29 with a spectacular closing ceremony held at Kanaklata Indoor Stadium in Guwahati. The tournament was organized by Guwahati Sports Association in collaboration with Assam Badminton Association.

The event was graced by Dr. Debojit Dutta, Assistant General Manager of State Bank of India, Local Head Office, North Eastern Circle, Guwahati, Assam, as the Chief Guest. Among the dignitaries present were Omar Rashid, Secretary of Assam Badminton Association, Gautam Mahanta, Treasurer of Assam Badminton Association, Romen Dutta, President of Nazira District Sports Association, Porikhit Dutta Vice President of Golaghat District Sports Association, Kamakhya Saikia Working President of Dibrugarh District Sports Association, and Akash Verma of Verma Sports as Guests of Honour.

During the ceremony, various officials and representatives from different sports associations presented prizes to the winners. The tournament witnessed intense competition and showcased the talent of badminton players from across Assam.
