Guwahati – Assam Down Town University successfully organized HR Conclave 4.0, bringing together HR leaders, industry experts, and professionals to discuss new trends in recruitment, talent management, and people success.
The event began with a panel discussion moderated by Vishal Sharma from Lenskart.com, focusing on recruitment strategies for Gen Z. Experts like Paras Thakur, Meghali Kumar, and Ravi Shankar Singh emphasized onboarding, global trends, and workplace alignment with Gen Z’s aspirations.
Another discussion, led by Abhishek Sarma from Reliance Retail, highlighted skill-based hiring and emerging HR technologies. Anitha Jayapal of L&T Edutech stressed internships for skill development, while Vikas Singh Sonagra introduced the “Alpha Model,” offering flexible workdays.
The event celebrated HR excellence with awards. Mrigakshi Talukdar from Marico Limited received the HR Rising Star Award with ₹50,000, while Ashish Banka from Cradlewise won the HR Leader Award with ₹1,00,000.
Associate Director Rimjhim Baruah expressed pride in the event’s growth, reaffirming the university’s commitment to fostering innovation in HR. The conclave concluded as a powerful platform for dialogue, equipping participants to adapt to the future of work.
