Speaking to the media, CM Sarma said, “The habit of reading is essential for personal growth and knowledge. To promote this, we will organize book fairs in all districts throughout the year.”

The Assam Book Fair will be held in Khanapara to bring people closer to books and foster a culture of reading. Additionally, government departments will set up libraries to motivate employees to read more.

This initiative aims to revive the joy of reading and make books an integral part of people’s lives across the state.
