Kaziranga: The Assam Cricket Association (ACA) successfully held its Annual General Meeting (AGM) in Kaziranga. The meeting, led by ACA President Taranga Gogoi, was attended by Secretary Tridib Konwar, Joint Secretary Rajendra Singh, Treasurer Chiranjit Langthasa, Apex Council members, and district representatives.
Key discussions focused on player performance, nurturing young talent, and developing grassroots cricket. The ACA also decided to grant permanent affiliation to six playing member units that met the required criteria.
Plans to upgrade cricket infrastructure across Assam were reviewed, aiming to create better facilities for players. ACA members expressed confidence in Assam’s cricketing progress and pledged to work towards improving the state’s position in Indian cricket.
