Guwahati: The Aqua North East Expo 2026 will be held from September 17 to 19 at Maniram Dewan Trade Centre.
The expo will focus on the aquaculture sector and aims to bring together companies, startups, technology providers, government bodies, and other stakeholders. The goal is to explore business opportunities in Northeast India, where fish demand is high and the sector is growing.
The event is supported by the National Fisheries Development Board (NFDB) and the Bengal Chamber of Commerce & Industry. Fisheries departments from Northeast states will also take part.
It is being organised by Aqua Doctor Solutions Pvt Ltd in association with Fishery.News.
The three-day expo will include exhibitions, a startup and innovation section, and a conference where experts will discuss key issues and solutions in the aquaculture sector.
The event comes after the success of Aqua North East Summit 2025. Experts say Northeast India has strong potential in fish farming due to its natural resources, and more technology and investment can help the sector grow further.
