DIPHU: The Association of Indian Journalists (AIJ) has established its new committee for the Karbi Anglong District. The formation took place on Saturday at the Farmer’s Growth Centre in Diphu, Karbi Anglong. The event saw journalists from various media houses becoming members of the new committee.
Sohan Prasad Mahato has been appointed as the District President of AIJ, Karbi Anglong, while Shri Bhagirath Deka has been given the role of General Secretary of AIJ, KADC. The program was marked by the presence of National Working President AIJ, Kiran Kumar Gogoi, State President AIJ Assam, Jayanta Kr. Deka, and other senior journalists.

This initiative aims to strengthen the journalistic community in the Karbi Anglong District, ensuring better representation and support for media professionals in the region.
