Guwahati: Assam down town University (AdtU) recently organised a session on “AI in Healthcare: Transforming Tomorrow” for its students.
The session featured Laina Emmanuel, Co-Founder and CEO of BrainSight.AI, as the main speaker. She spoke about the growing role of Artificial Intelligence in the healthcare sector and how it is changing the future of medicine.
During the session, students learned how AI is helping in faster diagnosis, better patient care, and improved medical research. Topics like human connectomics, MRI advancements, and modern neuroscience were also discussed.
Laina Emmanuel also explained the work of BrainSight.AI and its use in neurosurgery. She said their technology helps doctors understand the brain better and plan surgeries with more accuracy.
The session helped students understand new career opportunities in healthcare and technology. They also interacted with the speaker and gained practical knowledge about AI-based healthcare solutions.
