Guwahati: An accused police officer allegedly involved in an incident at Ghograpar police station was found unconscious at Guwahati railway station on July 6. The Railway Police Force (RPF) discovered him and immediately rushed him to Guwahati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), sources said.
It is worth noting that a few days ago, a girl lodged an FIR against the officer, accusing him of taking explicit pictures of her. She filed the FIR at Nalbari police station. He had been absconding until then. After the incident came to light, the Director General of Police, GP Singh, announced an inquiry.
