Guwahati: The convener committee of the All Assam Students’ Union (AASU) group was formally established at a meeting held at The Elmonai Bhawan of Cotton University. Led by Madhurya Mandit Deka, the purpose of the gathering was elucidated, with Kuldeep Gautam Sharma presiding over the session.

During the meeting, the convener committee was constituted, with Madhurya Mandit Deka and Kuldip Gautam Sharma appointed as the chief conveners. Additionally, Rituraj Saikia, Manjit Barman, Tridev Nath, Shankar Das, Aditi Bora, Nikita Barman, Anurag Adhikari, and Nabajyoti Das were appointed as conveners to the committee.
The event saw the presence of worker from the All Assam Students’ Union, including Rupam Kumar Das and Jiten Das from the State Executive, Pranjal Deka from the All Guwahati Students’ Union as General Secretary, and Alkesh Nath serving as the Advisor. Furthermore, Ranjit Deka, the Cultural Secretary of the All Guwahati Students’ Union, along with several other AASU office bearers, graced the occasion.

In the forthcoming days, the AASU aims to undertake a series of initiatives within Cotton University. Plans for future sessions and activities were also discussed during the meeting, highlighting the organization’s commitment to its objectives and goals.
