Guwahati: Joining the rest of the nation, Marwari Hospitals in Guwahati celebrated National Doctors’ Day in a grand and heartfelt manner on July 1. The event, held from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM, honored the dedication and service of doctors with a special felicitation ceremony.
Doctors at the hospital were presented with certificates and gift hampers as a token of appreciation. The celebration included speeches by Dr. J.P. Sarma, Director of Medical Services, and Dr. R.N. Mazumder, Head of the Surgery Department, highlighting the importance of the day and the role of doctors in society.
The event concluded with a cake-cutting ceremony and a lively interactive session between the doctors and an RJ from Radio Gup Shup. The segment will be aired soon, adding a fun twist to the day of gratitude and recognition.
