Guwahati: A doctor from a private hospital in Guwahati has been arrested by Dispur police after being accused of sexually harassing a young girl.
The doctor has been identified as Bikash Roy Das. The girl’s mother filed a complaint at Dispur Police Station, and a case was registered.
The victim and her father have also given detailed statements to the police.
The doctor was taken into police custody. However, while speaking to reporters, he denied all the allegations and said he was innocent.
