Shillong: MPJ Jewellers has opened a 6,500 sq. ft. showroom in Shillong, located on Jail Road, Police Bazar. Popular singer-songwriter Jessie Lyngdoh inaugurated the store on Friday in the presence of dignitaries and guests.
MPJ Jewellers has been in Shillong since 2012 and is known for blending modern elegance, trust, and tradition in its jewellery designs. Managing Director Soumik Roy Chowdhury expressed excitement about the expansion, calling it one of the brand’s largest showrooms in Northeast India.
The brand offers a variety of gold, diamond, and platinum jewellery, including wedding collections, daily wear, and men’s jewellery. Customers can also find astrological gemstones.
MPJ Jewellers has over 15 showrooms in Northeast India, with locations in Assam, Meghalaya, and Tripura. The company plans to expand to 50 stores across eastern India in the next two years, with new outlets opening soon in Itanagar, Tinsukia, and Lakhimpur.
