Guwahati: On the morning of November 14th, Children’s Day was joyously celebrated at the Department of Pediatrics, Gauhati Medical College. The event was graced by the presence of Principal Dr. A.C. Baishya and Deputy Superintendent Dr. Ujjal Sarma.
An engaging art drawing competition was organized for the children admitted to the Pediatrics department, supervised by Dr. Gayatri Bezboruah, Head of the Department of Pediatrics, and Dr. Diganta Barman, Assistant Professor of Pediatrics. The celebration witnessed active participation from faculty members, postgraduate students, as well as nurses and support staff. The occasion included a delightful cake-cutting ceremony and the distribution of gifts and chocolates among the children admitted to the department.
