Chirang: A blood donation camp titled “Ujjivan” was successfully organised in Chirang district on Wednesday as part of a community health initiative. The programme was jointly conducted by Resonia Ltd. and KEC Ltd., in collaboration with the District Health Society, Chirang, and supported by the Assam State Blood Transfusion Council.
The camp saw active participation from employees of Resonia Ltd. and its vendor KEC. A total of 43 people registered for blood donation, out of which 32 successfully donated blood, contributing to the local blood bank and helping meet critical healthcare needs.
The main aim of the initiative was to spread awareness about voluntary blood donation and encourage people to donate regularly. A medical team from Kajalgaon Civil Hospital managed the camp and ensured all safety measures and proper care during the process.
Certificates were given to all donors as a token of appreciation for their contribution. The organisers thanked all employees, partners, vendors and healthcare workers for making the event successful.
The message “Donate Blood, Save Lives” was highlighted throughout the programme, encouraging more people to come forward for future donations.
