The Rajasthan Royals have announced the start of their first pre-season training camp in Jaipur ahead of the upcoming Indian Premier League 2026 season.
The camp will begin on March 17 at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium, where the squad will assemble for training, fitness and net practice sessions.
The training camp will be conducted under the guidance of Head Coach and Director of Cricket Kumar Sangakkara. The programme will focus on strengthening team bonding, intensive practice sessions and match preparations along with strength and conditioning training.
Earlier, a smaller group of players including Ravi Bishnoi, Vaibhav Suryavanshi, Sandeep Sharma and Ravindra Jadeja attended a short camp and fitness assessment session at the franchise’s High Performance Centre in Nagpur.
The Jaipur camp will be the first time the full Rajasthan Royals squad comes together ahead of the new season, including new signings like Jadeja and Sam Curran.
According to the schedule announced by the IPL Governing Council, Rajasthan Royals are expected to travel to Guwahati on March 26. The team will play their opening match of the season against Chennai Super Kings on March 30.
