Guwahati: A joint eviction drive was carried out by the Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) on Thursday, July 3, to remove illegal structures built on railway land between the Panikhaiti and Narengi section near Guwahati.
The drive started at 11 AM and continued till 5 PM with the help of 64 security personnel, including members of the Railway Protection Force (RPF), Railway Protection Special Force (RPSF), CRPF, local police, and railway officials.
