Zubeen Garg’s Last Assamese Film ‘Roi Roi Binale’ Becomes Highest-Grossing of All Time

Guwahati: Legendary musician Zubeen Garg’s final Assamese film Roi Roi Binale has created history at the box office, earning Rs 33.30 crore within just one month of its theatrical release, the makers announced on Monday (December 1).

With this, the musical drama has become the highest-grossing Assamese film ever, surpassing 2024’s Bidurbhai, which had collected Rs 15 crore worldwide.

Directed by Rajesh Bhuyan, Roi Roi Binale is Assam’s first musical film, featuring Zubeen Garg’s original voice recordings as a tribute to his extraordinary artistic legacy. The film was released on October 31, a date personally chosen by Zubeen before his passing.

The movie stars Mousumi Alifa, Victor Banerjee, Joy Kashyap, Achurjya Borpatra, and Yashashree Bhuyan in key roles.
