Union Minister of State for External Affairs and Textiles, Pabitra Margherita, will visit Cambodia from July 7 to 8, 2025, as part of his official foreign engagement. During the visit, he will meet senior leaders of Cambodia and interact with alumni of ITEC/ICCR and the Indian community. He will also review India’s restoration work at UNESCO World Heritage Sites in Cambodia, highlighting the shared cultural heritage between the two nations.
Following this, the Minister will visit Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, from July 10 to 11, 2025, to attend the ASEAN Foreign Ministers’ Meetings. He will represent India in key sessions under the ASEAN-India, East Asia Summit (EAS), and ASEAN Regional Forum (ARF) formats.
The visit aims to deepen India’s partnership with ASEAN and reaffirm India’s commitment to ASEAN unity and its Indo-Pacific vision. Margherita is also expected to hold bilateral talks with counterparts from other countries on the sidelines of the ASEAN meetings.
