Sonapur: The 1st Battalion Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) Sonapur and its Sandiksha family celebrated Magh Bihu, also known as Bhogali Bihu, with the elderly residents of Sonapur Government Old Age Home.
Under the guidance of Commandant Sunil Kaushik, the initiative aimed to extend social responsibility and foster a sense of inclusion for the elderly on this festive occasion.
The celebration featured vibrant cultural programs, including traditional Bihu songs, showcasing Assam’s rich heritage. The event concluded with a community feast shared with the residents and the distribution of essential items, donated by the personnel and families of the battalion.
