Imphal: In a series of coordinated operations across Manipur, the Indian Army and Assam Rifles, along with Manipur Police, CRPF, BSF, and ITBP, apprehended six cadres and recovered a large cache of arms, ammunition, and war-like stores between April 4 and 5.
Operations were conducted in Imphal East, Imphal West, Kakching, Bishnupur, and Churachandpur districts. Key recoveries include 22 weapons, including Self Loading Rifles (SLR), carbines, pistols, .303 rifles, along with grenades and other military equipment.
The arrested individuals and seized items have been handed over to Manipur Police for further investigation.
The joint operations underline the strong coordination among security forces and their continued efforts to restore peace and stability in Manipur.
