Sports Desk: Rajasthan Royals are redefining fan engagement by transforming supporters into active collaborators, inviting them to help shape the franchise’s journey across music, match strategy and now design.
As part of HunaRR Manch Season 2, the IPL franchise has opened submissions for the 2026 Pink Promise Match jersey, calling on design students, young creatives and graphic designers from across India to submit their concepts. The winning design will become the official on-field jersey worn during the Pink Promise Match, offering fans a rare opportunity to see their creativity showcased under IPL lights.
The initiative builds on the Royals’ growing open-sourcing philosophy, which encourages fans to directly contribute to key elements of the franchise. The Pink Promise Match jersey, one of Rajasthan Royals’ most iconic symbols representing purpose and social commitment, has now been opened up for fan-led creation.
The movement began in 2025 with HunaRR Manch Season 1 (Music Edition), where over 30 aspiring musicians from Rajasthan were given a platform to perform original compositions at Rajasthan Royals’ home matches. Several of these artists later went on to feature on national platforms such as India’s Got Talent, host ticketed shows and build independent music careers.
Rajasthan Royals further extended this collaborative approach into cricketing decisions through the SupeRR SelectoRR Hackathon, inviting data analytics enthusiasts to contribute ideas towards auction strategies. Three selected fans were given the opportunity to attend the IPL auction, interact with Head Coach Kumar Sangakkara, and present their insights directly at the venue—an uncommon instance of fans entering the franchise’s decision-making space.
By blending sport with art, entertainment and purpose, Rajasthan Royals continue to build a culture where fandom goes beyond support. The franchise is positioning itself as one where passion becomes participation, and fans do not just follow the story, but help write it.
