Guwahati: Radisson Blu Guwahati successfully organized a bicycle rally on Sunday, June 2, 2024, in celebration of World Bicycle Day. The event aimed to highlight the numerous benefits of cycling, promoting it as a healthy, sustainable, and eco-friendly mode of transportation.
The rally was flagged off by Dr. Ravi Kota, Chief Secretary of Assam, and saw enthusiastic participation from cycling enthusiasts and professional bicyclists. Starting at 5 am from the hotel, the rally followed a scenic 20km route and culminated back at the Radisson Blu Guwahati. Among the participants was Mr. G.P. Singh, DGP of Assam.
Ankur Mehrotra, General Manager of Radisson Blu Guwahati, expressed his excitement about the event, stating, “We are thrilled to host this bicycle rally in honour of World Bicycle Day.
