Baksa: The Baksa district administration has imposed prohibitory orders after violent clashes broke out between the public and police when five accused in the Zubeen Garg death case were transferred to the district jail on Wednesday.

The unrest occurred near the newly constructed Baksa District Jail, where protesters gathered demanding justice for Zubeen Garg as the accused were brought in under tight security.

To prevent further tension, the District Magistrate has banned all gatherings, rallies, and demonstrations within a 500-metre radius of the jail.

Security has been strengthened in and around the area, and senior officials are monitoring the situation closely.
