Guwahati: Young tennis player Phaagun Jyoti from Assam won the girls’ under-12 singles title at the AITA National Ranking Super Series Tennis Tournament held at Dream House Resort in Jaipur, Rajasthan.
In the final, Phaagun Jyoti defeated Shubhi Ranjan of Uttar Pradesh in straight sets 6-4, 6-2. This is her first title in a prestigious National Ranking Super Series tournament.
Phaagun Jyoti is a trainee of the All Assam Tennis Association and a student of Holy Child School Guwahati.
The All Assam Tennis Association has congratulated her on this achievement and wished her success in future tournaments.
