Guwahati : The District Task Force, in collaboration with the Sonapur police, conducted raids on multiple shops in Sonapur near Guwahati city. As a result of these efforts, nine child labourers were rescued during the operation. The department has taken the initiative to register a case against the owners of the implicated shops at Sonapur police station. Currently, the Sonapur police have detained the owners of the identified shops involved in employing child labour.
